Altho I haven't been active on Smackjeeves recently, I wanted to know if the audience statistics were reliable ie "real" readers.

It was suggested elsewhere that the readers in the Smackjeeves statistics were Spiders and not real people. Any way of telling, one way or the other?

I just started using smackjeeves as a mirror site for the strip. There's no way of knowing for certain whether the traffic is real or spider, but I would say that, based on the volume, it's certainly within the realm of what I expected to see. I wouldn't say it's spider traffic if I had to guess.
