I haven't used the program, nor was I aware of it till now but that is pretty steep of a price. I use a flipbook thing myself that was really easy to use/edit.

Supports several books and you just have to edit 1 xml file with the image sources. I like it, I've gotten complaints from ipad/ipod users but honestly I think it works nice and gives a awesome comic-like experience. So you need no flash know-how to use this thing, it works well and it has a built in contact form and media player. All of these easily disabled too.
Alternatively I also bought a non-flash version that works on all devices including the ipod/ipad that's a bit more difficult to use but it does work really nicely:

I'm testing it right now and debating if I should use it or not, granted it can't do the same as the flash flipbook (chose a book, play music, etc) however it works on everything and seems to be smoother and less hard on the hardware.
Also they're both several times cheaper than the one you mentioned
