ooh. What if you were passing on secret information? Or, more specifically, what if you and a group of other webcomickers encoded secret information into one of your comics (kind of like a webcomics exchange) that if put together in the proper order lead to a secret URL with some really cool reader-thank you waiting there?

how about a phrase or an object placed in your comic without knowing the meaning?

and you pass it on to the next person (a phrase or object of your choice) and so on and so forth.

Well, if you want to get specific, I was thinking something more like 9 webcomickers make one big image, then cut it up into 9 square parts, each part with the URL of one the comics. Then each comicker takes one piece (not the one with their URL) and makes an update to their own comic, overlaying their portion of the secret image at a visibility of, say 2-3%.

Or, take the leading pixels of the image and code the URL of a secret website in Morse Code in black and white pixels, the website will contain the secret image. Each website has a link to the other participating webcomics.

You know, something along those lines.
