None of my comic page posts for chibidetective.com register as "posts" as far as Wordpress is concerned, when I'm looking at my Admin dashboard it tells me I have zero posts but all of my comic pages are displaying as they should.

Is there some option I missed or is there some CSS override I need to add into Inkblot so that my comic posts will be recognized as a normal post? I'm wondering if I made a mistake when I set up Webcomic that effed up the webcomic post type.

I don't use those so this is a wild guess, but maybe you have to include a blog entry as well as a comic image?

It requires a post to accompany the image, but Webcomic has you define a completely new 'webcomic' post type which isn't being recognized as a post by wordpress

I'm not sure I totally understand the issue; you say the Admin dashboard is telling you you have zero posts? If that's the case, I'll guess you mean the Right Now widget, which report various stats about your blog. Webcomic posts don't count as normal posts so they don't affect your total post count (nor will they show up under the Posts area of the Admin dashboard).

Yup, WordPress sees and handles normal posts and webcomic posts as completely separate entities; webcomics are a custom post-type:

The "Right Now" widget on the dashboard should have a separate number displayed for webcomic posts.

Right, is there a way I can make the Calendar widget display days on it when the webcomic post and/or a normal post type has been uploaded? Cuz right now all that displays is a mostly blank calendar.

Also Bagel, you seem to be quite the Wordpress/Webcomic Super-man, where in the Editor can I make changes to adjust the background color, font, etc. for the Sidebar 1 div? Do I just add overrides in the Sidebar.php file?

The calendar widget is the built-in one included in WordPress. It's unfortunately hardcoded to only show blog posts. Duplicating and modifying it would require a doable but fair amount of PHP coding.

Webcomic Superman would be the creator/developer: mgsisk (from a few comments back). I'd put myself more at a Webcomic Aquaman, and not the awesome version from Batman: The Brave and the Bold, but the lame version from Super Friends.

The current CSS for those things is in style.css. The part you're probably looking for starts with this:

Code:
/** Sidebars & Widgetized Areas */

If you have any specific trouble I certainly don't mind answering any further questions; if you don't want to post them in public PM's are fine. And as always, you can ask questions here:
