Since posting about milestones seems to be a trend recently, here's mine: as of today, I have been making Galaxion webcomics for five years. Five years of weekly updates. I won't say I've updated every single week, but none of my missed updates were unplanned or happened without warning for the readers. I'm not the fastest webcomic artist on the block, but I've been pretty consistent. Like every single teacher I ever had used to say, "it's not a race." Slow and steady, that's me. Wink

I've actually been doing Galaxion a lot longer than five years (first minicomic was published in 1993), but this marks five years of the online publishing method. Yay, me! *throws confetti*

I thought you'd been working on this for a while longer, too! Didn't quite realise it was 18 years, but woo for five online ones! Very Happy

Wow, that's awesome! It's always cool to see webcomics have long runs! I can't wait until +1 Comics gets to five years. We started in August 2006 and...um....

That's pretty awesome. Did you do anything special? OMG, when mine hit five years I made a cake, got presents, made a silly tribute video, people sent fan art, everything. It was a really huge deal and then a bunch of people said I was silly and I felt like a nerd. (Like I care.) Smile

Did you release a special issue or do anything for your fans (or ask them to do crap for you)?

Now that five years is past, though, I kinda feel like milestones aren't very significant. I didn't do anything for six years. (I'm not at seven years yet.) I think I've just used up most of my celebration ideas. Is this what getting old is, for a webcomic?
