Still updating and using it really, I skipped over MySpace it was nearly dead when I started doing social media's Even so I will end up sticking with facebook till Google Plus takes off, it is nice and I like it more so I hoping it wins ^^ but even tho I hope it becomes popular I am hoping it does not become another facebook. |

Yeah, Myspace was already on its way out by the time I got interested in connecting to people with these networking sites. I mostly used Livejournal, then once I got a smartphone I started using Facebook and Twitter regularly, too.
I don't think Google+ would replace Facebook for me. I mostly use Facebook to connect with people I know face to face, and other sites for people I know online. |

Yeah, at first I was like noooo I want to keep posting it all under my personal profile, it's so much easier (and there are a lot of annoying kinks in their business page system at the moment, like not having an easy way to see if new notifications have arrived, and the UI bouncing around with stupid pop-ins and such when you try to switch between profiles and so forth), but eh I guess long term it has to be this way. :P
Here are the two of mine that are currently updating regularly:

Gah the page interface on G+ can be pretty confusing. For instance, whether or not you are automatically switched to your page profile when visiting your page depends on the URL you use. If you use say the one they give you from the "share this page" box (mine looks like this:
https://plus.google.com/u/0/105302017806135303872
) then you are *not* auto-switched to your page's profile when looking at the page. On the other hand, if you use the URL you see in your address bar after manually switching to the page's profile, then clicking your own name (mine looks like this:
https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/105302017806135303872/105302017806135303872/posts
)
then you *are* auto-switched to the page's profile when visiting that URL.
Ugh.
It's also pretty annoying that
- You can't switch profiles from the profile pages
- You can't post an update to the page from the page itself--you have to go out to your page profile's post stream first
Man, Google. You're copying Facebook but you got this part all wrong somehow. _________________ |

Well that was confusing. Enough like Facebook to be familiar but different enough to be confusing. Anyhoo, here's:
