Just noticed this section of the forums was here! Pretty dead, eh?

I was just wondering if anyone knows if there's going to be an award show for 2011? At this point being 2012 and all it doesn't look like it. And I can't say I'm not disappointed.

I have to say, as a webcomic reader, I very much enjoyed the awards. It helped me find a bunch of new comics to add to my lineup and it was really neat to see everyone get recognition. Now, that I'm on the other side of the looking glass I was very much looking forward to them this year.

I can't help but wonder if they're happening and if not then why not? Does anyone know??

The 2011 awards sort of fell through. I think the time of year didn't really help. Towards the end of the year everybody gets really busy.

Hopefully we'll be doing the awards again, but organising them sometime earlier in the year when people have more time available.

Yeah... I had been kind of browsing this section..then I realized.. there be mold in this area of the forums. Not much happening in the awards section.
