Okay, maybe I'm being obtuse but when I click into my profile, it defaults me to the main TWCL profile section and I do not see a place to add a signature. How'd you guys do it?

Nothing ever gets fixed here. It's like an abandoned building where homeless people shelter: its increasing state of dilapidation is known and noticed by all who come regularly, but none of them have the resources to fix it and if the local council knew, they'd demolish it and build something new there instead.

Anyway, the reason for the dissapearing sidebar (which is where the profile edit link was) is that we had to do an emergency update to fix a nasty security issue that had arisen and was threatening to make the amount of spam coming through impossible for me and oppy to deal with.

That almost entirely fixed our spam issues, but broke the sidebar. Slowly the spam started coming back, which eventually lead to us asking Chilari and jaygee (have I mentioned recently that you guys are awesome?) to be mods, not that it's anywhere near as bad as it was before the fix mind you.

It does need an update, but it's going to have to wait until it can be done properly. No quick fixes unless they're entirely neccesary.

hi, I have a question about the signature banners, do they need to be any particular size?

That's a good question. As far as I know, no, but please try to keep it fairly small - Wendy's banner is a good size, for example - so that it doesn't cause problems on small screens like netbooks.

Hi, I'm having this problem now as well... I'm assuming this problem still hasn't been fixed? It's not such a huge deal, but I would prefer to have an avatar and signature on the forum.
I want to have a banner in my sig, should I send you the code I would like pasted into my sig or something?
