I have to admit I don't read your comics dpat, because the whole 3d thing is not really my cup of tea, but I just wanted to say it never ceases to amaze me how you keep 5 webcomics going so neatly. Hats off to you sir. |

Every once in a while I check out Secret Agent...
The art takes some getting used to, ok, maybe it takes a lot, but you're one heck of a writer. There's fun, there's action, there's drama. Keeping five seperate stories going is a real feat. |

I've tried to read your comic a few times, and I just can't stick with it. Your characters are too deep in the Uncanny Valley. I hate to say that, because it's obvious you work really, really hard on it... but that's my experience. |

Santaroga, thanks for reading and thanks for saying so.
RustMonster, that's a mighty interesting comment, and one I didn't ever expect to see! I didn't think my characters were anywhere near realistic enough to reach uncanny valley's revulsion zone, even on their best day. But it's as valid a reason as any. Eye of the beholder and all that. _________________ |

Excellent idea, dpat.
For the record, I like Starship Captain quite a bit. _________________ Power corrupts. Absolute power is pretty neat!

I like the boxy style you've got going on. Every time I see one of your comics, I know it's yours just based on that. Also, it reminds me of a cross between Lego and Centurions, that one 80's cartoon. I don't know why but it does.
I've not been able to really get into the comics but I think that's just because the stories aren't gelling for me. That's down to personal preference I suppose (I don't like much modern sci-fi, truth be told) and nothing to do with the comics themselves. You're an excellent writer, I'm just not your audience.
Finally: I'm going to add my name to the list of people saying you rock for managing five comics a week. The only other person I've known to do that is John Wagner, who wrote 2000AD for a few years in the 80's and even then he had to take on a co-writer to keep going.
Well done! _________________

I'm glad to see that there's "more to come..." with Biff Thrash. That's got to be my favorite comic.
