Two years later, ComicPress is still being maintained, there will be a new version 2.9.4 when WordPress 3.4 comes out, keeping it up to date with the changes WordPress has made.

I had about 6 months where I couldn't do anything this past year but right now I'm making up for lost time.

ComicPress 3.0 never came to fruition, the premium version was never released, or had anything done with it. Unfortunate though it had some great things in it.

I am a webcomic fan, not just an artist and writer. My goals are to see everyone succeed in what they are doing, whether they are just looking for advice, need coding help or want someone to just talk to.

I was a hothead on a few topics, some people would write some things then remove them completely from the internet after I responded to their original insults then get backhanded response, which elevated; - nowadays I just don't care about those type of things. I apologize to everyone who was involved in those types of exchanges. (was only a couple people, but still they were there, again sorry)

On a good note, I recently released Comic Easel, a plugin for WordPress that allows you to make a comic site out of almost any theme available for WordPress, you look at it here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/comic-easel


I like it, it has a lot of potential and if anyone has some time to give it a look please report back any feedback, constructive or otherwise.

There is another plugin CP2CE available on the WordPress repository that assists people in migrating.

I'm confused here, they think webcomic artists have money for this kind of BS? $80 sure isn't a ton of money but there's a lot of cheap options you can get elsewhere that don't require this strange uncertainty they're bringing.

Considering the state their viewer has been in for ages I think it's pretty bold of them to ask for such a price.
