I think Twickles is more of a nick name. I think it's kind of cute, but officially it would be TWCL awards.

I'm voting for TWCL awards as, like I've said before, it's being run primarily by the members of this forum, has Ash's approval as an official List project and gives it a link to a well established comic listing site, lending it some credibility that it wouldn't necessarily have based on the individuals involved alone.

I'm against the name 'the webcomic awards', because in my mind it sounds both too generic (I've never heard of 'the music awards' or 'the movie awards') and a bit too authoritative.

That's what I was hoping for. I didn't really think that "Twickles" would be...respected. That's my vote then.

In the case of OSCARTS, would the singular be "an OSCART" or "an OSCARTS"? Maybe change it to OSCART altogether ("... Comic ART") to avoid ambiguity?
