However, there is no real way of determining traffic for a comic unless it has ads running on it that we can peak in to see its running traffic. Wouldn't it be kind of hard to say that all comics with a traffic level below "x" qualify and thise above it don't?!?

I like Luke's suggestion of a "Committee's pick". I like it that even though such comics don't get named awards, they still get recognition.

Just working out the poll options for the different awards.

Unless anyone has any other options to add, the poll options on Sunday will be as follows.

- Don't include this category
- Hidden Gem Award
- Best Under-appreciated Comic
- Committee's Pick Award (Not open to public nomination)

For either the first or last options to win they would have to have more votes individually than options 2 and 3 combined as these options would work the same way; they just have different names.

Anybody have any suggestions?

An "under-appreciated comic," in my experience, will by definition not succeed in any kind of vote. I vote no. It's way too difficult a thing to define.
