I'm looking for an artist for my new comic.
Genre: Action/Adventure/Comedy/Sorcery
It is an on going comic.
The story revolves around a 14 year old boy named Umury, who goes on a mission with 2 close friends, Magumi and Loki. He is trying to get revenge on a very strong, evil demon that killed his entire family, and kidnapped his older twin brother, Rai. He eventually joins up with allies that have similar causes. Along the way, he discovers that he is not as ordinary as he once thought. (He travels in a group of 5, but leaves town with 2.)
Characters
Umury- A fun-loving boy that is strong willed, yet air-headed at times. He never gives up, nor does he let his friends down. Umury is not the greatest hero of all time, but he is definitely the bravest. Umury wields duel blades. Age: 14
Rai- He's more of the strong, silent, and serious type. He has no time for games. He may come across as a cold-hearted person, but in all actuality, he cares deeply for his younger brother's safety. Thanks to the main villain, Genjoksu, he can never show it. He is his number one henchman. Rai uses a huge blade, that even the toughest demons cannot lift. Age: 14
Magumi- Gentle at heart, Magumi is Umury's closest friend. She's very optimistic about various situations that the group encounters. Not always the one to jump into the action, she usually tries talking out the problems instead of using violence. Umury views her as a good friend, but she wishes it could be more than that. When needed, Magumi will use her trusty sickle to inflict damage from a distance. Age: 14
Loki- The smartest of the group, Loki is the little brother Umury never had...nor wanted! He can be pretty annoying, and difficult, and he usually has a problem with most of the group's decisions. At the tender age of eleven, he already has a good understanding of sorcery, and is not one to be underestimated. He uses a staff as a catalyst. Age: 11
Genjoksu- The main villain of the story. He is a maniacal, vicious, and gruesome demon. Well known for his raids, he is feared throughout the land, and speaking his name is usually taboo in most places. His goal is to use the youth gem to obtain eternal life and rule the world forever.
The comic will be hosted on well known webcomic communities called Drunkduck
(www.drunkduck.com) and smackjeeves.
I can't offer money, but if this comic should ever make money, you shall receive 50% of all the profits.
I want the comic to be black and white with manga type of style.
The comic will only have to be updated twice a week.
