I'd have to say no, you haven't gone too far. I'm also quite fairly indifferent to the whole argument. I use Wiki myself to find articles that relate to bits and pieces I use in my own comic (cos Americans don't know about many of the bits and pieces I include in my story) and link to those articles, but I couldn't give a fat rat's tossbag if they don't want comics linked there. In a way, I kind of agree with them. I really don't think most of the comics linked there are probably worthy of being included in an encyclopaedia about everything, to be honest.
Mind you, I've got two links on Wiki pages for my site that someone else has put there, one linking from Australian English, and another linking from an article about the hair gel Brylcreem. I'd be embarrassed to have my own page though.
So no, I don't think you've gone too far. Would I put it up online? No, because I don't think it particularly says anything or is really humourous, to be honest. Look, a Nazi with the Wiki head. Doesn't really do much for me.
If it has nothing to do with your regular stories or canon, then no, that's another and probably more important reason why I wouldn't put it up as well.
Anyway, you'll make your own correct choice.
