Hello Everyone!

I am looking for guest comics. Am I going on hiatus? Is my daily update schedule too much for me to handle? Is there an illness? The answer is no. Then why am I requesting comics? The answer is simple, it fits into my storyline. In a month or so, there's a planned event within the comic that will allow for a break from the ongoing story.

What I was thinking was a 6 panel comic in my general format, double the 3 panels I do Genuine Draft. I can provide a template if you like. Now for the comics. I would like for you, the creator, to do a kind of commercial or trailer for your comic. Your style, no need for Lego, it just needs to be web-14. I reserve the right to edit if needed. I also would like a banner for your comic which I will include in the comic notes. If this goes as planned it will remain in the archive and listed as such. If it's a horrible unsuccessful endevour, well I will have a nice piece of custom work to display on a new page for fan art and guest comics.

I think that's aboot it. If there are any questions, pm me or ask in this here thread. Thank you for your time and concideration.

Jim

Ooh. I can do this. I actually have some pixelated Legos. Hmm. Let me know if you're interested in having BMW guest. Oh, and a template would be good.

Hello All.

Here's the template.

It's a basic jpeg. It's 6 paneled, double my standard 3 panel. And I will fill in the comic info at the bottom.

@Mirz. Jump on in. Smileys are welcome!

@Beertycoon. Lego versions of your characters should be disturbing! Wink

@n9uxu (Dave) Here you go.

Any questions, please ask.
Jim

Aw, man, I actually have a Lego version of one of my characters. (See? Made by a fan, it's brilliant. I only have the Aria one.) I wish I had time to do this so I could show her off!!

Well, nothing has to be Lego based. It's basically a movie trailer for your comic. I actually have a method to my madness. Twisted Evil These will be shown starting around March 28th. So there's plenty of time to get something done. The archives on my site should give you an idea how far ahead I am working. (I hate doing the archives so I try to get ahead and just add the correct page number in the link.) I'm filming a bunch of comics now. About 50 maybe? So again pleanty of time.

....Holy crap, that IS brilliant! :D Did they mold it themselves or something, or is it a repaint of a standard figurine?

So we put together a 6 panel advert that you'll show on your site and ... what's the catch?

I hopefully get some new pals? It's real simple, a 6 panel advert of your comic, like a movie trailer, and I'll put it on my site. What's the problem with that? If you don't want to do it you don't have to. I have a plan, pm me and I will share it. Thanks.

For those of you interested they will begin displaying 3-30-09 and run until I'm out. Then I will continue the story with my nefarious plan. I would like them by 3-15 so I can get them numbered and ready to go.

Thanks.

Yeah, I understand. I started building the set for this current story of an alley and a morgue. I ended up building a spaceship, and had to push back the story and go with the pirate improv strips until I got it built. It's really bad when I get distracted or not in the mood to build comic stuff and I have a huge collection. Plus I have 10 sets that are new and boxed that need to build. AHHHHHHH! It's all fun.
