My site gets plenty of views and visitors, not astronomical, but decent I would think for a 2 month old webcomic. However, nobody leaves a comment. Does this mean it sucks? I get a few likes from other wordpress bloggers, but absolutely nothing from anyone else.

Tell me how to fix this.

Aside from making a comment option available, have you given them any reason to believe you're looking for feedback?

I find people tend to be more encouraged to comment if the creator(s) offer a lot of commentary of their own along with their comics. Do you talk about your pages when you upload them, or do you just present them on your site by themselves?

I have started asking for comments lately. I don't really talk about them as I post. What would I say? Talk about the process of creating the specific comic.

I didn't post my site because I wanted people to think this was a genuine question and not just an attempt to promote.

But since you asked...it's thehatandfat.wordpress.com

the absence of comments means very little these days... if people keep visiting your site, especially the same people, then someone likes it. The only way to really know, of course if someone loves or hates your site is if they tell you outright. And then they're only one opinion - unless you get 20 "it sucks" comments... there's so much that's subjective and arbitrary to "it's great" or "it sucks" that it's hard to know what to think... but constructive criticism, positive or negative, is always useful...

I have the same trouble, I really dont see many comments. I get anywhere from 25-100 page views a day (depending on the day of the week), but without comments I cant really tell if people are actually going to the site, or if its just stupid bots or something.

I hear you. I hate when people do that.
