So, I've been using this Surface Pro for drawing for about two days now. It is not going as well as I had hoped.
What is killing me is the lack of the accuracy. Nearest I can tell, the screen detects the very tip of the pen, which is not t be confused with the nib. The very edge of the nib is what I am used to being what is responded to; cause you know, that's the part with the ink, graphite, or paint. The mark appears where it touches the paper. Easy.
But the surface registers just s little off of that. It would be very accurate were the pen exactly straight up and down, but the further of an angle at which it is held, the less accurate it is.
So it turns out this is slowing my process down because I can't get one line to connect with another unless I stop and carefully position the tip so that the cursor is where I need it.
Anyway, I'm wondering how common this is. Is this just a thing with the Surface? Or is this actually how cintiq's respond as well? Or there something wrong with my Surface?
