I suggested it, especially since Comicpress is becoming defunct and am in love with the WC/IB combo, but the developer, Michael Sisk, is looking for people who are willing to convert to his plugin from Comicpress.

I noticed hits to the Webcomic site coming from here and stopped by to see what was up with that and saw this. Thanks for sharing this Aquapunk! XD

It doesn't look like there's a ton of interest in helping out, sadly, but that's alright. Webcomic 4.0.8 will be out this weekend, and it'll include the ComicPress converter. I'm still interested in getting a site export from at least one person to test it out with actual site data, if anyone would like to share.

To be clear: all I need is a WordPress export of your site, which I can import into my own development site to test with (thus saving you from having to run the converter on your site and possibly having everything blow up in your face). The converter itself is actually just an extension of Webcomic 4's Upgrade Webcomic tool, which automates the process of upgrading from Webcomic's 1, 2, or 3 to Webcomic 4, so the conversion from ComicPress is fully automated (once you initiate it).
