I love the art and I want to know what happens next, but my two cents is that it develops too slowly. If the comic comes out once a week, in reader time the guy has been fighting a rapist in an alley for about a month and a half now. That's a purely stylistic comment that is totally subjective; I'll still be wanting to see upcoming pages!

Haha, yeah, I pretty much just do what I can at the moment. It's only weekly because the pages cost $40 a piece...it's also the reason its black and white.

If by whatever fluke of nature the comic actually manages to fund itself, then I'd try to up the update schedule. It's just tough on a grocery store wage to justify more then one update a week lol.

Yeah I understand, it's the nature of the format. It's the kind of work you want to "get into" and read all in a row without interruptions. It is well done.

Don't count on ever even breaking even. Even with strong art and writing (which you have), long-format story webcomics very rarely get popular enough to make any money. If you look at publishers on Project Wonderful, for example, you'll note that there are only a few dozen (out of thousands) that make more than a couple of dollars a day, nevermind $40 a week. Please understand that I'm not trying to discourage you, I just want to make sure that you're doing this because it's a hobby you love, not because you hope to get rich from it. But yeah, looking forward to seeing more.

My comic is mainly a hobby but it's also a portfolio piece. It'll be helpful later on when I start writing pilot scripts and try to get an agent.

Also, you can't write for publishers until you've self published so it's all part of a bigger plan.
