A few years ago, while living in Tokyo, I started a limited webcomic series called Blade of the Last Gods right here on The Webcomic List. Over the last couple years I've been working on getting it made into an animated series.

I'll be starting up the webcomic again in late February, but check out what we're working on.

You seem to have a really nice property here, it's obviously a labor of love and you've put a lot if work into it, but I have to be honest the "trailer" for the animated series is kind of lacking. Not that it looks bad or anything, but it's barely five seconds long of actual animation. Needs more trailer. Best of luck to you with the Kickstarter.
