Now two month's worth of comics into this, and the artists are getting more into the swing of things now. Every week goes smoother, and a buffer is slowly being built up!
Feels good. Won't you drop by?

I noticed that you only do one page a week.
The more you pump out, the faster you will improve.
They say it takes roughly 100 comics before a strip even starts being good. You're ahead of the curve but surely you want to produce more than 4 a month? |

Certainly. If we had time I'd love to chug out 5 pages a week... But we both have full-time jobs to contend with.
Trying to budget our time now to see our way clear to producing two pages a week, but it'll be a close thing if we can manage it as things stand now. |

Haha, I feel like I'm reading a WWF comic or something. Cheezy, yet amusing gags.
In response to antleonardi01's comment about updating, there are pros and cons to both sides of the argument. I used to update my comic twice a week and did so for about a year and half. I then had to drop it down to about once a week because I took on a lot of other illustrative projects. As a result, I haven't noticed much change in site hits or interaction with readers. It probably helps that there is a backlog of nearly 200 pages, but I don't know if it updating more than once per week is essential to any comic. I used to be of the opinion that the more you update the better it'll be. But in doing so you might risk a decrease in quality because you are more rushed, and in some cases I feel that some readers may be a little discouraged by comics with tons of pages. It's kind of nice getting in at the ground floor of a newer comic, know what I mean? It really all comes down to your availability in relation to quality.

Yeah for sure. You do good work dude.
Cartooning is like anything else, you get progressively better by doing it a lot. I always feel like my art and writing is crap so I'm constantly trying to out do the previous strip by at least a little bit, yaknow? It's like addictive. |

Now four months in, and things keep getting smoother. Bought a Wacom Cintiq, so the inking should be improving as now I can draw directly onto the screen.
Our hero Zukah may be in love! How will he cope? |

New page up! Can Zukah spin a yarn fantastic enough so that the cute girl he just met can overlook his appearance?
