I find that sci-fi is an excellent blend of story telling and social commentary. So does anybody know any good sci-fi Web comics? Hell, post links to your own if you want! |

I'd add to that list with three from my RSS feeds:
Station V3
Legostar Galactica
El Goonish Shive
And a cheeky inclusion of Commander Cottontail, which is set on space station and has aliens and time travel, so probably counts.
Edit: I suppose Gilbert and the Grim Rabbit also counts to some extent. _________________

SF is my genre and I adore it. Which flavor do you prefer?
Post-apocolyptic: Spine, What It Takes, and the now-finished FreakAngels.
Space-based: Schlock Mercenary, Runners (not currently updating, but totally worth it), Galaxion, Dicebox, Free Mars, Outsider, the now-finished Hunter's Moon, Drive, Riven Sol, and of course the other, finished Foglio comic, Buck Godot.
Cyberpunk: A Girl and Her Fed. Also Cetiya, which is sort of fantasy but has always scratched my cyberpunk itch, so that's what I call it.
Borderline stuff: Templar, AZ is alt-history, so I'm calling it sf for the purposes of promotion. And Skin Horse is... um... well, it's Skin Horse.
So, by the way, I really like SF comics.
And yes, the comic in the sig line is also SF, if you can handle the crappy art.... _________________ |

Ooh I hadn't known about Space-Mullet, that's really nice looking.
A couple I like that haven't been mentioned--neither is still updating though:
Nine Planets Without Intelligent Life
Mannie Marine (animated episodes)
EDIT:
Oh! Also Astray3 has gorgeous art...but also seems to have stopped updating. :| _________________ |

Yep, definitely forgot some.
@smbhax.com - Nine Planets has ended but the guy's doing a different sci-fi comic now - Opplopolis. _________________  |

It does seem like a lot of promising sci-fi comics disappear! But maybe it just seems that way to me because it's a genre I notice more.
Another nice one, which has a somewhat erratic update schedule, is Our Intrepid Crew. Also, have a look at The End and Valkyrie Squadron. _________________ |

If I had to pick a single genre for Zombie Ranch, it'd be science fiction, and when I did a reader poll about the topic way back when, the majority agreed. Now as to whether it's good science fiction or not, I'd be hopelessly biased. _________________ |

There's one about spacegirls that I've heard of. The name escapes me right now.

Heh, I used to run one... some years ago. It was called 'Synthetic Life'. Not sure if I was very good at it... I don't plan on bringing it back tho... There are too many comics with the same theme out there right now. :\ So, yeah.
If I were to list a comic: I really like this one: Fallout Toyworks. If it's not what you're looking for, at least I tried. _________________ |

I've got 4 active Sci-Fi comics, updating weekly, and 2 completed. My fun hobby.
