Okay, I want to advertise my comic again, and when I have to actually pick my comic from the list, I have 0 choices! no comics are listed.
What is going on? _________________ |

|
|
I tried changing the url on Bee Police, and it has not changed. THere's a couple of problems:
1 the report a problem link in the comic control panel brings up a form. THAT form has a popdown for the comic name, which shows up as a #, not a list of comics. THe form won't work without the comic name.
2 Bee Police's url is still not listed correctly. it should be:
http://beepolice.thecomicseries.com/comics/
3 Bee Police's status shows up as "not processing". I beleive this is because the page it is linking to has a javascript that generates a random preview image.
Thank you!

When I'm trying to associate a comic, the page just freezes. Perhaps it's the query trying to list all 19.9k comics.
I'm using Google Chrome. |

Hi. I've just added my profile, but when I save it's adding backslashes in front of each apostrophe. The same thing happened when I entered a synopsis for a new comic.
Here\'s an example of how it\'s looking.
Can anyone help, please? |

Are you copying it from a text document or typing it straight in?
It's possible that if you're copying and pasting it that there's something odd about the way the original is formatted. _________________

Hi Wendy, thanks for the quick reply. I'm typing directly to the text entry box, and the slashes appear within that box right after I save. If I delete them and save again, they come back.
I also notice that the second newest addition, "Ray Fox" seems to have had the same problem - apostrophes and quotation marks are causing the same effect:
When the world is threatened by a very hostile insurgent, clumsy, \"super hero in training\", Raymond Fox Maple begins a daunting adventure to get his act together, save the ones he love and finally prove himself worthy of his gifts. |

That's odd.
Silly question, but you have tried editing it in a different browser?
If that doesn't make a difference then it looks like it's probably a job for Ash. _________________

It's very weird. Tried a different browser, and I'm seeing the same thing in both Chrome and Firefox. |

Right, something's most likely gone wrong server end then by the sound of it. I'll let Ash know so he can have a look at it when he has a moment. _________________

Many thanks Wendy, much appreciated.
ADDITIONAL INFO: after I noticed the backslashes I re-entered my comic synopsis text, and now this has updated it's displaying correctly, although my profile and today's new additions have the original issue. Not sure if that's any help, but there it is. |

Okay. It is a problem with the site and apparently it's been around for a while although nobody is quite sure what's causing it, but they're being edited out whenever they're spotted. Occasionally though they get missed.
Unfortunately due to how busy Ash is these days, what with running a company and everything, he hasn't been able to spend that much time looking for the source of the problem so for the time being it's just a case of them getting removed by someone with admin privileges over at the main site every so often.
It's not ideal I know. If anything goes a while without having them edited out let me know and I'll pass on the links. _________________

Does it take long before I receive a response regarding a problem with «pattern not matching» ? I changed my layout, I tried the code (<! - Last Update: 07/11/2012 ->) it worked for a little while ... |

Every time I click to see who faved my comic, I get a blank page. -.-
This issue is older than I can remember and sometimes I really want to know who liked my stuff. _________________ |
