Well okay then. This is my very first post here and I fully admit to having only the smallest bit of a clue as to what I'm doing (sense-smacking is welcome), but you all seem like a smart and friendly bunch, so here goes:
The Artist is Dead! is a strange little thing cobbled out of ink and ripped paper that I started this July, to see if I could. It's done entirely by hand (except for the part where, you know, I put it on the Internet) and centers on a small group of self-aware drawings trying to grapple with their place in the universe, and also to deal with the unspeakable beast of hate and terror who killed the artist that scribbled them out in the first place.
It's messy and kind of experimental but there is a Plot and regular updates (guaranteed; you can hold me to that) every Tuesday and Friday.
I don't actually have much of an Internet presence (I reiterate the above parenthetical RE: sense-smacking) but this project has prompted me to try and rectify that. Like I said, this place seems to have a good atmosphere -- and if nothing else I'm sure I'll discover plenty of good new comics through it. I look forward to exploring everybody else's stuff!
