Hi all,

I am doing a short run (probably no more than 20) of a new comic strip, Odd Jobz.

It's about the employees of a useless handyman/home repairs company. I'm busy putting them up here on my Blog:

Here are the ones I have completed so far:

Let me know what you think:)

Dude, you should be doing this all the time. The art is sweet and there's tons of material about these kinds of jobs.

This is a great-looking strip and it's well written. Keep it up.

I like this a lot...you should post some more...The linework is great...Are the drawings digital? If not what are you inking with?

Thank Tony, I agree, I am trying to do it full time. I have a couple newspapers interested in it, which could lead to me doing it full time. But nothing definite. I'm very keen to keep it going. I just hope I can get some financial backing.

Thanks Raindog, I will definitely post some more once I have completed them:)

Regarding the inking- I do it digitally. I hand draw my pencil roughs, scan them in, and open those in Illustrator. I do all my inks in Illustrator using a Wacom. I then move the file over the Photoshop where I tidy up the lines and add colour/greys where needed.

I find Illustrator gives me the smoothest, cleanest linework. Hope that helps:)
