I'm moving my webcomic Ace Kilroy over to WordPress and using the WebComic theme Inkblot.

I've figured out some basic stuff, but am having a really hard time customizing the site to better fit the strip; anyone have a good place that can answer questions like:

--How can I change the background color of the blog portion of the site? (Its currently the standard white, I want to change that)

--Is there a way to customize the calendar? I installed WP's standard one, but it doesn't allow for toggling across various months, which kinda renders it useless.

I have like a million more questions, but those are the big two bugging me at the moment.
