Hello,
I'm a writer with a few ideas running around in my head and I'm looking for someone to illustrate a story I'm working on.

It's Alice In Wonderland themed - I won't go into full detail - but the artist will have free reign over most of the design.
I'll just give general character guidlines and things like that.

Also, it won't be a paid job because I'm in college (English college, I'm only sixteen) so I haven't got any money.
Please don't let my age put you off. If you question my writing skills I can send you some of my short stories and poems, you might reconsider.

People are more likely to question "Alice in Wonderland-style art" combined in the same request with "no money" than they are your writing skills based on age. Sir John Tenniel's art was insanely detailed work (for which he got paid handsomely--which was a good thing, considering he hated the books, the art, and Lewis caroll himself). I'm not sure what kind of advice I could give you, except, don't ask for Tiffany glass if you don't have some pretty deep pockets.

I'm asking for any art style, I have no preference, as long as they are a decent artist. It's an Alice inspired comic, I'm not asking for someone to copy Sir John Tenniel at all.

What's the scope of this project? Any idea about the number of pages/drawings, the schedule, that kind of thing?

And when you say "Alice in Wonderland themed" do you mean it has the same themes as Alice in Wonderland, or it has the same characters and settings?
