I'm fairly new to this whole thing, but my stories have got positive reviews when they get put up around the interwebs, so I hope I'm pretty good I'm looking for some experience of writing for a webcomic, unpaid, because I feel that to demand money from you guys when I'm new would be kinda stupid.

You'd probably be better off converting one of your stories to script format (comic script is similar in format to screenplay, differing only in that you're describing a frame of action and not a fully articulated scene) and requesting an artist to draw it. Artists like to believe that their talent with a pen and brush makes them experts in all of the arts, so they tend to be a little snobbish about allowing writers to do scripts "for" them.

I vaguely recall someone looking for short web-projects so s/he could practice a variety of art skills. You may want to scroll through the thread list here.
