Monthly Comment Contest

We've added comment capabilities to every page of Curly Girlz Comics, so our readers can write in and tell us what they think of the comic, of a particular page, a character, anything at all.

And to celebrate we're launching a monthly best comment competition for our readers.

Each month a small prize will be awarded to the comment judged closest to fulfilling the criteria of that month's contest category - and the category will remain secret till the contest closes each month.

If that sounds too mysterious don't worry. We're looking for genuine comments from readers who really enjoy Curly Girlz Comics, so if that's you, your comments will definitely be in the running, whatever the category. Keeping the contest category a secret mixes it up a bit, makes the outcome less predictable, keeps everybody on their imagination-toes.

Note: The comment forms have an optional email address field, but in order to be part of the contest you must include your email address when you submit your comment. Your email address is the only way we'll be able to contact you and verify that you actually sent in the winning comment.

Note: we moderate all the comments we receive. Your comments won't go live until we've had a chance to look them over, so don't worry if you don't see what you've written straight away.

Note: We won't publish comments that are not family-friendly, and we won't publish comments that are insubstantial - like, for instance, one word, three words. Well, we might publish them, but insubstantial comments won't be contest winners. We're looking for what our readers genuinely feel and think about Curly Girlz Comics, which means they'll have thought about it and will have something to say.

There's no limit to the number of entries you can submit - every comment you send is another entry in that month's contest. Just remember to include your email address each time.

Comment Contest Prize

Each month, the winning commenter will be able to choose their prize from among that month's prize choices.

February 2012

1. A shirt, mug or other Cafe Press item with a design featuring a character or characters from Curly Girlz Comics

or

2. an original cartoon of yourself drawn by TRALLT, or a picture by TRALLT of a character you've invented

or

3. star as an "extra" in an issue of Curly Girlz Comics

or

4. a free ad running for one month on Curly-Hair-Styles-Magazine.com (NB: both the ad you provide and the site your ad links to must be family friendly).
