Hello, I'm new here. Have a question.
I thought about trying it out when I get my web comics up and running. But was wondering if it's worth it base upon other people experiences? |

For me, yes. They have paid more and have been lower maintenance than three other ad services I have tried.
My site does get a high number of page views per reader, though (about 20, currently), which I suspect has something to do with it. _________________ |

I hated it. Project Wonderful is so much easier to manage and you get your money every day. Google makes you wait until you have X amount of dollars. |

Im curious, how many page views do you think you should be averaging before you sign up with google adsense?
I was sorta under the impression that you would need a few thousand for it to be worth it? =( _________________ |

Do you mean using the service to advertise, or putting ads on your site?
The former depends on how much money you're willing to put forth. I don't feel like it's worth it, but it's a personal choice. Ultimately the appeal of your comic will be what keeps readers, not how much you advertise.
Ad services usually pay by number of hits, if I understand correctly-- it's probably not worth putting ads on your site if you're just starting out, because your site won't earn enough to be worth the time. |

about a dollar a day. with av 405 visits a day.
too prominent placements of ads can also confuse and alienate readers. _________________ |
