BE INSPIRED - BE POSITIVE and imagine what could be the future relationships between Humans and Nature

A comics contest is organized on the topic: “What positive visions for biodiversity in the future?”
Artists are invited to (but not restricted to) explore the possible following sub-thematics (future can be short-term 2020 or long-term 2100):

* Nature in Europe tomorrow?
* Cities for tomorrow?
* Agriculture/food for tomorrow?
* Landscape for tomorrow?
* Tourism for tomorrow?
* Industry for tomorrow?
* Mobility tomorrow?
* Economy (consumption, eco-taxes, ...) for tomorrow?
* ...

The contest is open to professionals and amateurs but the artist must be EU resident and at least 18 year old. The language of the comics must be English. The submitted strip should fit in the A4 format, be in jpeg or gif and have a minimal resolution of 300 DPI. Please refer to the contest rules for additional restrictions.

The jury members are: René Hausman (http://www.renehausman.be), Frédéric Janin (http://www.jannin.com), Pierre Kroll (http://www.kroll.be), Seppo : (http://www.seppo.net)

That's the first thing I looked for when this advert turned up. There's no way a total handover of ownership is worth it.

I was going to reply to Lis4 with a thoughtful bit about how surrenduring your copyright means you no longer have the right to use the strip in your portfolio, or post it on your site, or even frame it and put it on your wall, but when I quoted her comment, I realized she's just a bot, or worse, a living person doing a bot's work.

In any case I agree that giving up your copyright is not the best idea! So maybe it was a good thing after all!
