Just saying, the usual link,
http://www.thewebcomiclist.com/latest/
has been showing this error message since yesterday:
Warning: mysql_fetch_object(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /usr/home/customers/ash/www.thewebcomiclist.com/www/latest/index.php on line 53
I tried reporting this via the "Report Broken Comic" link, which got me a good response last I used it, but the input panel insisted I supply a comic name... but I couldn't since the list is empty.

It seems to be working for me.
Try it again now.
If Ash broke anything he seems to have fixed it now. _________________

Verree interesting, I'm still seeing the same error, in both IE7 and Firefox.
You're selecting Latest Comic Updates link from the left margin navigation, yes?
Which gives me that SQL error, and NO COMICS IN THIS CATEGORY _________________ |

Looks like a bad database call in the "latest comics" lnk code. Try going to the main page and scrolling down below the news. _________________ What I lack in sincerity, I make up for in sarcasm.

Oh I see.
If you click the "all latest additions" link in the towards the right of the screen, directly under the "LATEST COMICS" header, you get there no problem.
I didn't even think to check the other link.
Anyway, I'll move this to Site Problems / Broken Comics, so Oppy will see it next time he's on. _________________

I got the same error, a mysql warning and "no comics in this category". Clicking the genres from there works just fine, though. _________________

There's more - the whole database seems to be wonky. The profile list, when sorted by rankning, doesn't show. Instead, another mysql warning, pretty much like the one above. _________________

Yup- I like looking at the list-by-ranking and www.tallyroad.com has been scooting up that probably due to practice and the addition of color... I'm sure it still is, but now I can't see my new neighbors looking forward to when this is fixed. _________________ |

I'm going through the fantasy comics for a review article and I'm finding lots of broken links. Just FYI.

When you say broken links do you mean internal ones or external ones? _________________
