Oh nobody actually wants to live there. It's an island. The only way to get off it is if you can get a job in the Alberta tar sands. That post-apocalyptic toxic wasteland is a big step up from living in Newfoundland, apparently.

Roundabouts... Myself, I hate'em, and they made me not to drive while I was in the UK for a few months. Here in Chile, where I'm living now, there used to be zillions of roundabouts, but they're gradually being replaced by overpasses and underpasses, since they're considered to be more dangerous than those alternatives.

That Magic Roundabout is truly frightening. This is a little worrisome too:

But is it worth moving to Canada over?

dude, giant pentagrams worked into the transit system? MAGIC roundabouts? Is Hogwarts real too? Please say yes.

Stephen Colbert just put Canada "on notice" by the way. Dunno if there are any Stewart/Colbert fans around here.

Enh COlbert stopped being particularly funny once the Republicans lost power. Stewart has the chops to make jokes nomatter who's in the driver's seat.

Oh, I haven't seen the show since the change, but before I always liked Colbert's spin on things more than Stewart's.

Colbert Nation!

Colbert Nation. <3 Colbert is all-out silly, which is why I love him. But Stewart's been more amusing this year.

Canada's on notice! I knew it'd happen eventually.

to continue this tangent, i think that stephen sort of has an advantage over jon because stephen is able to really commit himself to his character. he can swing between extremes and just be really over-the-top and it's cool cause he's just playing a character (not to say he doesn't give real commentary on things, he just does it via this persona blahblahblah). basically, colbert is crazy. but jon, he's more like a moderator, or a translator, or what-have-you to all the anchors, who are completely insane. colbert is pretty much always the center of attention on his show, but stewart has to think about how his role works with what the anchors are doing. in so few words that's how i see it.

in my opinion they're both awesome, but stewart's daily show was the first "fake" news show i fell in love with and he will always be held in just so much more high of regard.

canada blows!
