I would be honored, Uncle Greedy! I have one for a novelist this week. Then ronin356, the following week. I believe that you'll be August's first guest comic. :D
I really appreciate your offer. As I might not have that much time to draw the stories I have in my head, I like to give yousome background informations that haven't appeared in the comic yet. - Medusa is except for the snakes on her head completely human in appearance, and she is, like Ariane, unaging. (I have seen Medusa-cartooons showing old gorgons or some whith snakes on other regions as well.) I have modelled Medusa after women like Yvonne de Carlo, Mara Corday, Ruth Roman and Julie Addams. I think in real she would be looking like Jane Russell with the face of Hedy Lamarr. The comic itself is definitely aimed at mature people (but not "adult" in the way it is often interpreted), so I don't have any worries.
I just realized that you did a little review of my comic (because of traffic coming from there). I really appreciate it, and feel honored.
Thanks a lot y muchas gracias!

Ah. I knew having more creative people in my area was a bit of a stretch. Well, if you need an easy reference for the city, Nebraska City, NE (en entirety) is on google street view. They're the ones that actually came up with arbour day, so expect a lot of trees and signs relating to arbour day.

I am not from Nebraska. I live in Texas, in a "bedroom community" outside of Houston called Missouri City. I needed a name for a city that had a similar sound and feeling to it as Missouri City, and Kansas City was taken (twice).
I actually came up with the name several years ago, and made it the home town of my Casual Notice characters. Since the new comic will be a true ensemble (and include city council/homeowners' ass'n mocking) I felt the name fit.

Casual Notice, are you actually from my state or are you just picking the name Nebraska City for something?

Question: how would like to be credited for the comic? Just as your posting name on the forum? Also, you want me to throw up some links to your site or something?
