The awards are long since over. Why res a thread now? And what do you mean by "spoiler"? I clicked "quote" expecting hidden links because resing an old thread + something that seems out of context = spam, in my experience. |

I kept my nominations rather scant this year. By that, I mean I nominated just one comic in the categories that it was eligible in. And that is Extra Ordinary: http://exocomics.com.
I think it's an under-appreciated gem, both in writing and drawing, and it may just be the sentimental me talking, but it is the best comic I have stumbled on in a long long time.
Though, I promise to be more thorough in my nominations next year |

Thanks, Wendy. Glad I can be of service! I'll likely post my ballot tomorrow as a blog post.

| Wait a sec, could I have an @thewebcomiclistawards.com email account? Is that possible? I mean, if I'm gonna be helping with this thing I feel it'd be useful and I might as well. |

I might have to take you up on that.
I'm going to finish flat colouring my current page so I can upload (any shading can wait) and then clear as much as I can and see where we are this evening.
Do you have a @thewebcomiclistawards.com email account? |

| If you have a backlog, Wendy, do you want me to help? I can't right now because I've got a reading to do about sexual dimorphism in skeletons for a lecture this afternoon, but I should be able to do something this evening. |

All the repsonses are sent manually and I currently have a backlog to respond to. I can confirm though that your's is in there.
There's no harm in posting what your nominations are online before I've responded. In fact it actually makes my job a tiny bit easier because I can see that the form and the list on the site match, so I don't have to poke around for the email address or anything.
Anyway, the way the forms are organised when they come in as that I check all of them quickly. The obvious rejects get thrown in the rejects folder and the rest into the nominations folder until I can send the confirmation request when it moves to a halfway folder until I get a response back and then they go into the final confirmed folder.
I'm just a little behind in doing that right now, but the sort of good news is that we're pretty much snowed in so I'll have plenty of time over the next few days to catch up. |

It's hard to remember specifics, but Hanna is Not a Boy's Name was the big winner for me and was nominated in any appropriate category.
MS Paint Adventures was in several categories too. |

Hey,
Though the nomination form is secret, I felt like it'd be fun to declare publicly who I voted for on my site (plus it's a way to publicise the awards).
Here be my nominations
(Novil also did this a few weeks ago)
Peace,
L |
