from the look of his home... millionaire-or-close-enough comic book artist like Joe Q relies on DIY modeling methods and his own training to work from rather than pay for the same prefab poses that everyone else using them will be drawing. To be honest with you, I'm not at all surprised. He knows how it's all done, so why pay for it? He can get exactly the pose he wants, so why settle for second best? The technique got him where he is today, so why change it? To me, those are the valid questions that would lead him down this path.
Hah! But seriously, isn't that how we all spend our weekends? Or is that just me?
I always preferred not to wear a tube of card on my head. It would get knocked off by trees when diving for cover, for a start.
Here is another site I use and it is free
http://characterdesigns.com/
Anyway look nice the site. Over all I just google images or use the site above or my own collection I have found. I do not think I would go way beyond that really I do not think I would pay for it my income tight already.
Also same type of photos are on dA for free as well, it's a good idea and a good site.. but I dun know about paying for stuff that is free elsewhere

Damn, this is handy! Not just for poses, but for lighting, clothing... the whole schmeer.
I only wish you could search by camera angle, too.
Hi again! Thanks for your comments! Btw what do you think about searching by camera angle? If you can give me more details on this, our team can think about this idea

You can stick the cost of guns onto your 'phone bill? That's just crazy! Where on Earth do you live?

The next big project I'm working on (currently in the writing stage...) will be mainly photoreferenced and this is going to be a big help, especially since there are likely going to be a few guns here and there and my budget for firearms is, well, let's just say I'm having enough trouble paying my phone bill these days.
Thanks!
