Got it.
Hadn't got to it in the big long list yet.
I have to check each of them manually and I'm a little bit behind because of non-internet stuff not going exactly to plan.
Your one all checks out so count it as confirmed now. |

| So, I submitted a bunch of nominations a couple days ago, but I never got the purported confirmation email. Did it get lost somewhere? |

Haha, hopefully not, but I don't know that many people doing web comics. So gotta do what you gotta do. |

I'm really looking forward to seeing the list of comics that get nods for this. Always looking to check out quality new comics.
Now I just need to bride someone to nominate mine. |

| Well, apart from the fact that Sandra and Woo is two weeks away from being eligible in the only category it could win, I am very happy with the 12 categories. |

Sorry, but the one year rule was the most workable way of doing it that we could come up with and that everybody working behind the scenes could be happy with.
I know not everybody on the forum is going to be happy with some of the decisions we've had to make, but we've had to make certain modifications, cutting some of the awards for example, to make this thing work. |

More judges will be announced as details are confirmed.
Nominations are open to anyone who meets the following criteria:
1) Anyone involved in making a comic that has updated for at least six months and has at least 30 strips or pages in it's archive. Not all these pages need to have been posted in the last six months, but there must be at least one comic a month average for the last six months.
2) Anyone involved in making a current comic that has updated for less than six months or does not have enough strips or pages, but have previously worked on another comic that would have fit the criteria of point one itself if the application had been made at the time it was discontinued.
3) As well as those with eligible comics, voting will be open to those who have otherwise demonstrated a considerable involvement in online comics in 2009. This can be through assisting others with their comics, writing review blogs or staffing webcomic related sites. Anybody that applies based on this category will be looked at in a case by case manner.
If anybody is unsure if they are eligible to nominate comics just ask and we'll let you know. |
